Strong magnitude earthquake has hit Turkey and Greece

A magnitude of 7 struck at the tourist spots in Turkey and Greece which result in considerable flooding. The Turkish minister said that 6 building collapsed, 31 people are killed, and almost 1600 are injured. Aftershocks are still ongoing. The major countries which have been affected are Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and north of Macedonia.

These vibrations ignited mini Tsunami in the region that flooded in Izmir and Samos. The depth of the earthquake was 16 km below the ground. Izmir is the third biggest city of Turkey, and it is populated with around three million people. A lot of people were seen coming out from buildings and running on the streets when the magnitude struck, which result in collapsing of many buildings.

Turkish President ensured help to those who are affected by this massive natural disaster. Greek Prime minister and Turkish President had a telephonic conversation. They assured cooperation in the natural catastrophe besides having stressed political and military situations.
"Whatever our differences, these are times when our people need to stand together," Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis wrote in a tweet.
