Nawaz Sharif refuses to receive arrest warrant from British commission

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has refused to receive an arrest warrant from the British Commission. According to the Foreign Office, Nawaz Sharif's arrest warrant was sent to the London High Commission on September 17. A Foreign Office spokesman said the warrants were sent at 10:30 a.m. British time.
The Islamabad High Court had sent an arrest warrant to the Foreign Secretary ordering the execution of the warrant. According to the order of the High Court, Nawaz Sharif's attendance should be ensured on September 22 and other dates. On Tuesday, September 15, in the Azizia reference, the Islamabad High Court had rejected the review petition of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and issued a non-bailable arrest warrant.

Judge Asghar Ali had declared Nawaz Sharif a fugitive in the Tosha Khana reference of fake accounts and also issued a permanent warrant and sought details of Nawaz Sharif's property from NAB within 7 days.
