Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has appreciated the role of Pakistan Red Crescent in humanitarian assistance, its operations during disasters and provision of health services.
He was talking to a delegation of Pakistan Red Crescent led by its Chairman Dr. Saeed Elahi, which called on him in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged the role of the organization in community based social work and development for empowering the community in addressing core civic issues through better awareness.
The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing projects of the organization, new initiatives and future plans.
