Justice (Retired) Nasirul Mulk has taken oath as caretaker Prime Minister.
He was administered oath of office by President Mamnoon Hussain at a simple but impressive ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad Firday.
The ceremony was attended, among others, by outgoing Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, members of the former cabinet, governors of four provinces and services chiefs.
Nasirul Mulk is the seventh caretaker Prime Minister of the country.
Later, on arrival at the Prime Minister house, a smartly turned out contingent of the armed forces presented guard of honor to caretaker Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk . He also inspected the guard of honor.
