Chairman Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Mushahid Hussain says CPEC is all about cooperation and connectivity not just between Pakistan and China but also among countries of the region, including Afghanistan and Central Asia.
He was talking to new Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing in Islamabad on Monday.
Mushahid Hussain said Yao Jing knows Pakistan and the region very well, and expressed hope that during his tenure, Pakistan-China relations will be further consolidated and CPEC will make more rapid progress.
Yao Jing said CPEC will enter a new era of all round development this year.
Mushahid Hussain also presented report of the Parliamentary Committee on CPEC to the Chinese Ambassador.
