Former finance minister Ishaq Dar was meshed in the BBC program Hard Talk and unable to answer the questions regarding presence in London, assets and Medical treatment.
Fugitive Ex-Finance Minister Ishaq Dar looked troubled at the hitting questions on the BBC program. He tried to manipulate the discussion when asked about his illness, absence in court trials and property issues.
Dar is banned by PEMRA from television interviews in Pakistan right after his declaration as absconder by the court, appeared on BBC show which was recorded in United Kingdom. The anchor emphasized that he is defaming the country by using human rights excuses. In the BBC program Hard Talk, the anchor exposed every untruthful statement of Ishaq Dar.
About the property and assets, he said that he had only one property which was seized by the current government, on which the anchor reiterated, "Is there only one property?” On which Ishaq Dar said No, I have a villa which is on the name of my children.
When asked about staying in the UK for three years, Ishaq Dar said, "I am not feeling well. I have come for treatment. I am still in pain. See what happens next."
When anchor asked if it was possible for him to go back to your country, Ishaq Dar started crying about human rights. Anchor said Nawaz Sharif is also in London on medical ground like you.
Ishaq Dar began to comment on the NAB`s custody and Supreme Court judgement, to which Anchor said Nawaz Sharif was a convict.
The allegations of electoral fraud, the anchor corrected Ishaq Dar and said that EU observers had already declared the election results credible.
