Pakistan and Russian Federation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for naval cooperation. It was signed during visit of Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Kaleem Shaukat’s visit to the Russian Federation. Spokesman of Pakistan Navy says the MoU would help expand the existing naval cooperation between the two countries. Vice Chief of Naval Staff also called on Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Federation. They exchanged views on professional matters and security situation in Indian Ocean.

Chief of Staff of Brazilian Armed Forces Admiral Ademir Sobrinho called on President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad on Tuesday. During the meeting, President said increased cooperation between Pakistan and Brazil is good omen for growth of bilateral relations. Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed PEMRA and Information Ministry to ensure an efficient media campaign for the fund announced by Supreme Court of Pakistan for Diamer-Bhasha & Mohmand Dams for raising public awareness. Caretaker federal cabinet has decided to grant an interim extension of three months to the registered Afghan refugees in the country. The decision was made at a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad on Saturday with Prime Minister retired Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk in the chair.
