Caretaker PM assures of holding free, fair & impartial elections

Caretaker Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk has assured that the caretaker set up will ensure holding of free, fair and impartial general election.

He was speaking at a briefing on preparations on general elections at Election Commission of Pakistan in Islamabad today (Thursday).

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the Election Commission for holding elections.

He also met Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd) Sardar Mohammad Raza.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Election Commissioner expressed confidence the Election Commission will fulfill its obligations to the nation in a befitting manner.

He said the role of all stakeholders in holding of a transparent general election is critical and vital so as to meet the expectations of the nation and uphold the sanctity of the constitution.
